We offer lease purchase programs for safe, experienced and hard working OTR Drivers with Hurricane Express Inc. in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. Our family-owned company has been in business since 1988, and operated under our own authority since 1992. We specialize in lease-purchase trucking and in refrigerated freight going coast-to-coast, mainly produce, poultry and seafood.
Unlike most companies, we have not forgotten our roots. We still know our drivers by name – not by the number on their truck. We have a 15,000-square-foot shop with some of the best mechanics on hand to handle all of your truck and trailer maintenance.
Our accommodating office building was designed with our drivers in mind. It has a large lounge, Wi-Fi, a 50″ flat screen with cable, nice shower, and two washers and two dryers that can be used for free by our drivers. We have more than 160 trucks and continuing to grow daily.
Hiring qualifications:
- Minimum Age 30 years old. Exception can be made if the driver is 28 years old, with 6 months average tenure and a clean driving record.
- Minimum Tenure average of 3 months.
- 30 months of verifiable OTR Experience, with at least 6 months in the last 3 years.
- DWI/DUI in a commercial vehicle is an automatic disqualification.
- No DWI/DUI in the past 10 years.
- No CDL drug or alcohol violations.
- No robbery, drug, extortion or murder felonies. All other felonies are subject to review by Orientation Manager and Safety Director.
- Review by Orientation Manager and Safety Director required if more than 4 driver violations, 2 from each category:
- HOS
- Unsafe driving
- Driver’s License Suspensions
- 2 Inspections with more than10 Violations (driver or equipment)
- 3 Overweight Violations
